Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) are a group of infectious diseases that affects over 1.7 billion people globally, especially in tropical and subtropical regions. These diseases cause severe disability, stigma, and poverty.

Common NTDs in Nigeria include: Lymphatic Filariasis, Onchocerciasis, Schistosomiasis, Soil-Transmitted Helminths, and Trachoma.
